My real garden (i.e. some pots on my balcony) is in bloom, and so is this site! Please be patient with me as I learn to code and build a space I can be proud of. This is a long term project, but even at this simple stage, I hope it can be a resource for my friends, family, and new online buddies! There's nowhere for you to give me feedback yet (unless you know me irl), but eventually I'd love to hear tips on what kinds of things are helpful and fun to see. Check out my Recipes page for links to recipes I like! Instead of cookbooks, I keep an extensive and meticuously organized bookmark folder of websites where I've found my favorite recieps, and I want to share them with you! I'll include my personal recommendations for how I like to tweak the recipes, notes on how hard/labor intesnsive they are, and other useful tips.
Interested in what I've been reading lately? Check out my Book Reviews page! These are 100% my personal opinions of books I've read, not judgments of the objective quality of the books, but if you think you and I have similar taste, you may find them helpful! I mostly read modern fantasy and sci-fi, so most of the reviews will be in those genres. Maybe eventually I include a place for others to add their own recomendations for me!
Similarly, if you want to see what kinds of games I've been playing that I've enjoyed, check out my Video Game Reviews page. Again, these will be 100% refelctions of my own person experiences with the games, so read with that in mind! I play a lot of RPGs and farm sims, and almost all of my games will be ones available on the Nintendo Switch.
Guess what? I spent 5 years of my life getting a PhD in Linguistics! One area I loved was sociolinguistics, and I don't get to do a lot of that in my current job, so check out my Linguistics Blog for fun facts, awesome resources, and things I think everyone should know.
